Services
Florida’s climate puts fencing through its paces like nowhere else in the country. Relentless UV, year-round humidity, hurricane season, and heavy termite pressure mean that what you install — and how it’s installed — determines whether you get 10 years out of your fence or 25. Big Florida Fencing has been doing this work across Florida for 11 years. We know what holds up here, and we build every fence accordingly.
Below is a full look at what we install, repair, and service. Every job includes permit handling and HOA submittal support at no extra charge.
Our Fencing Services
Wood Fence Installation

Wood fencing gives you natural warmth and curb appeal at the lowest upfront cost of any privacy option. We install pressure-treated pine, cedar, and composite wood fencing in every style — privacy, board-on-board, shadowbox, picket, and split rail. Every post is concrete-set at the proper depth for Florida’s sandy soils, because that’s the single biggest factor in how long a wood fence actually lasts here. We also handle stain recommendations, HOA submittals, and county permits on every project.
Best for: Homeowners who want the natural look of wood and are committed to a maintenance schedule. Privacy, backyard enclosure, and front yard curb appeal.
Vinyl / PVC Fence Installation

Vinyl is Florida’s lowest-maintenance privacy fence option — no staining, no sealing, no rot, and no termite damage. A quality vinyl fence with UV-stabilized PVC profiles lasts 25–30 years in Florida’s conditions. We install privacy, semi-privacy, picket, and ranch rail styles in white, tan, gray, and other available colors. Aluminum-reinforced posts are available for coastal properties with higher wind exposure.
Best for: Homeowners who want long-term privacy with minimal upkeep. Ideal for Florida’s coastal humidity and intense UV.
Aluminum Fence Installation

Aluminum gives you the classic open-rail look of wrought iron without the rust. Powder-coated aluminum naturally resists Florida’s coastal salt air and humidity, holds its color for decades, and is accepted by most Florida HOAs. We install residential, commercial, and pool-grade aluminum fencing in flat-top, spear-top, and ornamental styles. Black and bronze are the most popular finishes. Pool-grade installations include the correct picket spacing and self-closing, self-latching gate hardware required under Florida law.
Best for: Decorative perimeter fencing, pool barriers, HOA communities, and coastal properties where rust is a concern.
Chain Link Fence Installation

Chain link is Florida’s most cost-effective security and containment fence. We install galvanized and vinyl-coated chain link in 11-gauge and heavy-duty 9-gauge, from 4 feet to 8 feet in height. Vinyl-coated options in black, green, and brown blend into the landscape better than bare galvanized and hold up better in coastal salt-air environments. Privacy slat add-ons are available on new or existing installations.
Best for: Property perimeter security, dog containment, rental properties, and utility enclosures.
Pool Fence Installation

Florida law requires a compliant barrier around every residential swimming pool — and it’s one of the most important safety measures you can take for your family. We install aluminum, vinyl, and removable mesh pool barriers that meet Florida’s code requirements. Every pool fence installation includes the pool barrier permit, installation to code, and coordination of the required county inspection. We don’t hand off the paperwork — we see it through to a passing inspection.
Best for: New pool installations, existing pools without a compliant barrier, pre-sale compliance, and insurance requirements.
Fence Repair

Florida’s hurricanes, humidity, soil conditions, and termite pressure are hard on fences. We repair wood, vinyl, aluminum, chain link, and pool fencing — post resets, panel replacements, gate repairs, storm damage, and everything in between. We assess every fence honestly: if repair makes sense, we’ll repair it. If your fence has crossed the line where replacement is the better investment, we’ll tell you that too, with side-by-side pricing to back it up. We also provide itemized written estimates formatted for homeowner’s insurance claim submission after storm events.
Best for: Storm-damaged fences, leaning or rotted posts, broken panels, sagging gates, and pre-sale condition assessments.
